Equestrian Rides in Sacramento
by Deer Creek Hills Preserve and Sacramento Valley Conservancy
Bring your own horse out to Sacramento’s largest nature preserve for a Docent-guided tour of the beautiful, permanently-protected landscape. Riders will travel over the lush rolling hills through green grasses and cross flowing creeks. Horses and riders should be accustomed to riding in groups and in open fields around cattle.
Groups travel at a walk and are usually from 10-15 in size. Space is limited and rides will fill up quickly. Be sure to register in advance for rides on SVC’s website through the ticket link below.
